Reading Time: ( Word Count: )

Nameless beneath our chests,
Faceless, between the wounds of islands, sparse
The empty shore rests.

Deb Bannerjee

You and me,
flew like the winds high,
to the end of the thread.
a nightingale tootled by.

Deb Bannerjee

between the cloudy sands,
The dusk
unnoticed
scattered by the rainbow tips.

Deb Bannerjee

Dreams glow
gray leaves
melt deep into the night,
creeks of treacherous sleep.

Distant deserts,
Islands
or, the sea,
You and me.
